Workshop We are located close to Norden / East Friesland on an old farm. The workshop was founded in 1991. Four organ-builders and two apprentices work here currently. It is important for us to build all parts of an organ ourselves - especially the pipes - so that we have full control over every stage of the development. In respect to restorations, we follow the strict guidelines of museum practice: Reversibility, using old materials (for example, glue from bones), extensive documentations etc. As closely as we are connected to historical organbuilding, many new discoveries were developed in our workshop. For example: a harpsichord mechanism for small organs with vents positioned above the wind-chest, the building of a Rohrflöte following musical measurements, a new manner of building wind-chests etc.
